📘 Course Description

This elementary Finnish course is designed for learners who already know the basics of Finnish and can communicate in simple everyday situations. The course supports progress toward CEFR level A2.1 and helps learners speak more confidently and independently.

You will practise using Finnish in common situations such as:

• talking about daily routines, work or studies

• describing your home, family and free time

• asking and answering simple questions in more detail

• handling basic everyday situations (shopping, appointments, services)

🎯 What you will learn

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

• speak Finnish more confidently in short conversations

• understand slow to normal-speed spoken Finnish on familiar topics

• read short texts such as messages, notices and simple articles

• write short texts about everyday topics

• strengthen your understanding of key Finnish grammar structures
